An Evening with Patt Morrison & her new book DON'T STOP THE PRESSES!

Kathleen Brown and Van Gordon Sauter hosted a wonderful evening with Patt Morrison and her new book, DON'T STOP THE PRESSES! TRUTH, JUSTICE AND THE AMERICAN NEWSPAPER. As Patt, twice on the team that produced Pulitzer Prize-winning features, said, this book is "about telling the story of journalists who don't always do a good job of telling their own story. This is about the lifeblood and the ink of democracy." Patt shared a number of stories from journalism’s past to illustrate the sacrifices journalists make in documenting their time and place.

On Wednesday, Patt will share some of these stories that champion the role of journalists with Larry Mantle on KPCC's AirTalk. You can also meet her in person at Vroman's in Pasadena on Thursday night at 7pm.
